Coding and Compliance Audit Services
Through an extensive review of your health information records, our coding compliance and reimbursement audits help you to identify risk and other areas for improvement, establish performance objectives, and develop an action plan to meet compliance and productivity goals.
Upon completion of the coding audit, TCG provides a detailed summary report to include the following:
- Inpatient coding accuracy rate per coder and by DRG classification
- Outpatient coding accuracy rate per coder
- Coding and documentation trends and deficiencies
- Recommendations based on audit findings
- Detailed audit findings presented by individual chart
- Detailed case mix analysis identifying current level and recommendations, if applicable
The executive summary of findings includes recommendations and trends to be presented to the designated Health Information Department team members as well as administrative personnel.
